Artec launches the new 3D scanner Artec Spider at the Control Fair in Stuttgart, Germany.
The Artec Spider 3D scanner allows for high solutions scans and has the ability to capture complex geometry, sharp edges and thin ribs. According to the manufacturer it can be applied in the fields of rapid prototyping and production, as well as the automotive and aerospace industry, medicine, quality control, product and graphic design.
Artec Spider is specifically designed for CAD users and perfect for reverse engineering. In combination with the Artec Studio software it is a powerful desktop tool for designers, engineers and inventors.
