3D Scanner Eva Lite by Artec

The Artec Group, expert for 3D scanning technology and measurement engineering for industrial applications, launches Eva Lite, an affordable version of the 3D scanner Eva.

Eva Lite is similar to Eva in every way except it does not have the ability to capture texture. It captures up to 16 frames per second, which are automatically aligned in real-time.

Due to the light weight the device can easily be guided by hand. The user just walks around the object and the camera captures it from different angles.

The processing of scan data is speeded up due to the fact that Eva Lite captures the surface geometry of the object. In the full version of the device – Eva – the texture mapping can be turned off in order to get results more quickly. On the other hand the texture function can be purchased in the online store to upgrade Eva Lite.
