Software developer Aibuild has unveiled version 2.0 of its cloud-based platform for industrial 3D printing. The updated solution will make its debut at Rapid+TCT in Los Angeles from June 25-27.
Aibuild integrates the complete manufacturing process from slicing to optimization to monitoring in a single AI-powered environment. Major manufacturers such as Ford, Boeing and Nikon already rely on the platform for fully automated web generation for various AM technologies, from polymer extrusion and metal wire feeding to concrete and paste printing.
For version 2.0, Aibuild worked closely with customers to implement their requirements. “This update takes the software to a new level of user-friendliness with maximum performance,” praises Nurah Al-Haj-Mustafa from Ford.
Highlights include end-to-end automation, an AI assistant for intuitive operation and the seamless integration of various AM systems. Thanks to cloud architecture, the software is also available everywhere.
As part of the relaunch, Aibuild is cooperating with new partners such as WASP: “The integration of our CEREBRO system as a digital twin in Aibuild went smoothly. Both technologies complement each other perfectly,” explains WASP.
Aibuild CEO Daghan Cam sees great potential through the AI connection: “Together with our partners, we are pushing the boundaries of 3D printing through automation and artificial intelligence.”
