Desktop 3D printer and laser engraver manufacturer Two Trees announced the launch of its novel laser cutter TS2 that has unique features which make it more efficient and resourceful. DIY TS2 Laser engraver has advanced technology that is based on the company’s previous model TTS-55. It produces powerful laser penetration and has a safe, customer-oriented design with a built-in flame detector.
The new model TS2 opens many possibilities for a DIY creation. It can be used for engraving different materials such as glass, wood, leather, and acrylics. Although laser cutters’ main use is in the industry, it is now also an essential tool for hobby creators. The TS2 has a protective design and is easy to use, which makes it perfect for hobbyists.
Two Trees laser engraver machine’s unique and distinctive features
Powerful & High Precision: The laser has a compressed slot technology. Its advanced LD + FAC C-lenses allow the laser to reach an accuracy up to 0.01 mm. Compared to other laser cutters which can cut through 3 mm, TS2 can cut through 8 mm poly wood very easily.
Easy to Use: The machine is not hard to install, since 60% of the machine is pre-assembled. To make it easier to use, the machine comes with autofocus installed in the software. The focus of the laser is automatically adjusted when using and engraving different materials. The machine supports operation through wireless connections such as Wi-Fi, TF card, and USB connection. Connection and control are easy, there is no need to connect many cables and make a mess.
Maximized Safety Settings: The TS2 laser cutter has a design that comes with an in-built flame detector and smart auto power-off function to maximize safety. The laser turns off after ten seconds when the device is stopped. This brings safety in case of some obstruction of the device and doesn’t let the object burn. A red emergency button is set up in the machine, the machine completely stops after clicking the button. Until the button is turned to the right, the machine does not restart.
Optimized Results: A fitted limit switch enables better control of the laser stroke so that a precise line is made. Whenever the stroke is at maximum, the limit function will be automatically triggered to protect the laser and avoid collisions. The laser head comes with a built-in air assist kit to improve the quality of engraving and cutting. With its advanced technique, the TS2 can be used for engraving fine, precise and elegant.
