XYZprinting Announces da Vinci miniMaker 3D Printer for Education – Update: Now Available

Taiwanese company XYZprinting extends their affordable da Vinci consumer 3D printer series by adding the miniMaker to their portfolio, focussing on the educational sector.

June 30, 2016: The beginner-friendly device is designed for easy hands-on learning in the classroom as well as at home, giving teachers of subjects including Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics, as well as parents the opportunity to get their kids engaged with 3D printing technology in real-life applications.

● Print Forever: The education-ready technology enables users to develop core STEM skills over the years.

XYZprinting additionally provides access to their Educational Ecosystem, including a series of 3D printing-based curricula, corresponding projects as well as a 3D Gallery with over 4,500 free 3D models. This will enable teachers to incorporate 3D printing into their classroom immediately.

Retailing for $229, the da Vinci miniMaker is now available for pre-order in the U.S. on Amazon.com with product expected to ship Fall 2016.

XYZprinting has just announced the availability of their first toy and education-focused 3D printer, the da Vinci miniMaker. The printer is available for $ 249 through XYZprinting online store and Amazon.
