Formnext launches Call for Speakers for this year’s edition

Formnext, one of the leading trade fairs for additive manufacturing (AM), is continuing its innovative multistage lecture concept in 2024. Visitors can look forward to a wide range of specialist presentations and discussions on current and future technologies and industry trends.

Three stages – the Application, Industry and Technology Stages – will cover topics such as artificial intelligence in additive manufacturing, medical and dental technology, robotics and automation. The lecture program, which is open to all visitors, aims to promote the exchange of technological and application-specific knowledge within the AM industry.

“This concept has also proven successful for this reason, and we want to contribute to the further establishment of additive manufacturing in many more fields of application by expanding it further and offering a more focused range of topics,” explains Sascha F. Wenzler, Vice President Formnext at organizer Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH.

Innovative application examples from industries such as automotive, aerospace and medical technology will be presented on the Application Stage. The Industry Stage offers discussions on topics such as sustainability and the industrialization of AM, complemented by insights into the industrial metaverse and DfAM (Design for Additive Manufacturing). The Technology Stage focuses on the presentation of new materials, software solutions and AM systems.

Formnext 2024 promises to be a central meeting place for professionals from the AM industry that not only presents technological innovations, but also addresses important industry topics such as sustainability and digitalization. The Call for Speakers is already open, and contributions can be submitted until June 30 to further enrich the diverse discussion and knowledge transfer.
