Czech 3D printer manufacturer Prusa Research is showcasing three new models for industrial use at the Formnext trade fair. According to company founder Josef Průša, these are the company’s most advanced printers to date.
The models will be presented under the “Prusa Pro” brand, under which Prusa markets its professional devices. According to Průša, a dedicated team has been working on these industrial printers for four years. However, the technologies will later also be incorporated into the more affordable models for end consumers.
The highlight is the Prusa Pro HT90 large-format 3D printer based on delta robotics. According to Průša, its 90-degree printing chamber and temperature-stable nozzles make it suitable for high-temperature plastics. At the same time, the HT90 can also print very quickly and is therefore versatile.
Prusa will also be showcasing a concept printer for the MSLA process called Prusa Pro SLX. It is said to use a 12K LCD panel for particularly fine prints. The third highlight mentioned by the company founder is a further development of the Automated Farm System, a print production line with a robotic arm.
In addition to the professional printers, Prusa will also be demonstrating the latest versions of its well-known MK4, XL and Mini+ models at its stand. According to Průša, visitors can also look forward to the presentation of new filaments.
