Former Chair and CEO Of DuPont, Ellen J. Kullman, joined Carbon3D’s Board of Director as seventh member on April 14, 2016, as the company has just announced.
Mrs. Kullman served as CEO of DuPont from 2009 until her retirement in October of 2015, leading DuPont into the 21st century with a focus on global science advancement. She served as the company’s first female CEO in its 200+ year history. Mrs. Kullman was elected Chair of the Board in 2010 and previously served as Executive Vice President from 2006 to 2008. She has overseen both national and international business markets, building several high-growth business platforms including DuPont’s safety and protection businesses.
“Ellen brings unparalleled experience in market and supply chain development, having led DuPont for over six years, and will bring incredible value to our team,” said Dr. Joseph DeSimone, CEO and Co-Founder of Carbon. “Her commitment to innovation in science and engineering, and excellence as a business leader make her a natural fit for our Board of Directors.”
Over the past six years, Mrs. Kullman has been consistently named to Fortune’s Most Powerful Women in Business list, both nationally and globally. She holds her Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University and received her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
