3D printing service provider Drumlord receives government funding

The Welsh 3D printing and vacuum casting services company Drumlord Limited has received additional funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in recent years. In total, the grants from 2022 to 2024 amount to £37,513.

Drumlord supplies companies from various industrial sectors with models, prototypes and small series parts. Customers include international film and television studios, Panasonic, Sony and Emirates Airways.

In 2022/23, Drumlord received an initial grant of £12,600, which the company used to strengthen its IT infrastructure. ‘This funding has enabled us to transmit orders electronically from order to workshop and calculate costs more accurately,’ explains Managing Director Rob Aldridge.

A second grant of £24,913 for 2023/24 will be used to expand and remodel the production space for vacuum casting.

The grant from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund will enable Drumlord to continuously optimise its capacities and processes and thus offer its customers innovative solutions.
