TCT Show + Personalise is the Biggest 3D Printing Show of its Kind

Leading 3D printing and product development event featuring over 50 3D printer manufacturers opens in 2 weeks

TCT Show + Personalize 2014, September 30th-October 2nd, promises to be the biggest and best 3D printing, additive manufacturing and product development event in the history of the industry.

As the world’s largest and most comprehensive dedicated 3D printing event, covering every aspect of this maturing technology ‘from hackerspace to aerospace’, this year’s outing remains true to TCT Show’s commitment to represent the entire industry, as it has for nearly two decades.

The biggest names in 3D printing – including industry champions Stratasys, 3D Systems, ExOne, Voxeljet, Renishaw, EnvisionTEC, EOS, Concept Laser, Mcor Technologies, Ultimaker, SLM Solutions, Formlabs, MakerBot, Materialise, Arcam, and Beijing Tiertime – will all be present at TCT Show, bringing together the largest number of additive manufacturing technology manufacturers in one place.

Visitors can admire the beauty and genius of the Innovation Showcase exhibition, bringing together some choice pieces from the vanguards of product design, art and engineering. The newest and freshest talent of 3D printing can be explored in the Start Up Zone and through the TCT Introducing seminar – new features for TCT Show 2014 that give entrepreneurs and budding enterprises a platform among the industry giants.

On the ‘hackerspace’ side of TCT Show’s mission, event organisers Rapid News Communications Group are thrilled to welcome back the RepRap Hub under the command of RepRap community stalwart Rich Horne. This year’s RepRap Hub will feature a dedicated meeting zone and presentation space in the heart of the show floor, which promises to be a hotbed for sharing ideas and making connections.

There will be plenty of food for thought for visitors attending the conference sessions either in the main theatre or in the technology seminars, where the spotlight will be shone on software, inspection, digitising and metrology.

Following the hugely successful format of the 2013 edition, TCT has invited the CEOs of EOS and Materialise, Hans Langer and Wilfried Vancraen to conduct the show’s opening keynote presentations. Day Two will see MakerBot CEO Bre Pettis and President Jenny Lawton inspire with ‘Brooklyn Rising – The Story, Philosophy and Future of MakerBot’, while on Day Three, 3D Systems’ ground-breaking work in the medical field will be explained by Andy Christensen, Vice-President of Personalized Surgery and Medical Devices.

Also on the main stage, visitors will witness leading applications of 3D printing from companies as diverse as Reebok and Zaha Hadid as well as innovations from Adobe, Autodesk and Formlabs – plus many more.

Finally, making a welcome return to TCT Show will be TCT Bright Minds UK in association with Black Country Atelier and 3D Systems, giving schoolchildren the chance to get hands-on 3D printing experience in a glass-walled classroom.

Group Editor and Conference Organiser at Rapid News Communications Group James Woodcock said: “From the most expansive exhibitor list in the industry to the unprecedented depth, breadth and quality of the on-stage speakers, this year’s TCT Show has topped the 2013 event with some style! Only at TCT Show can visitors get free access to established 3D printing companies like 3D Systems and Stratasys, startups like Markforged and 3D Hubs as well as a free conference featuring speakers from Under Armour, Adobe, MarkerBot, Autodesk, Formlabs and Zaha Hadid Architects. Whatever your level of interest in engineering, product development or manufacturing — from hackerspace to aerospace — there is truly something at TCT Show that’s worth your time.”
