My Mini Factory, an online platform for 3D models, is looking for travellers to scan landmarks and pieces of artwork to be converted into 3D models that can be downloaded by their users.
By introducing the Scan the World project a few month ago, My Mini Factory asked people to take pictures of lokal landmarks and sculptures, to turn them into 3D models that are made available for free download on their platform. With the help of their users they are trying to create the wold’s largest 3D printable library of artwork, landmarks and sculptures. To take the project one step further they now want to sent one lucky winner onto a free trip, taking photographs of famous landmarks along the way. The is no limitation on where you want your journey to take you. By submitting 40-50 sample pictures and an essay (200 words) about where you would like to travel and which artworks you want to capture, you can enter the competition by October 31st.
